Our Bears
All of our bears are handmade by us in Scotland. We create each bear by hand using a combination of hand and machine stitching, along with embroidered finishing touches. Each bear has its own unique character and personality- no two bears are ever the same!
Jointed Bears
Our jointed bears are traditionally made using a combination of authentic materials and techniques. This includes; high quality mohair fabric, suedette, black glass eyes and are jointed using either nuts and bolts or cotter pins allowing for five fully moveable joints. The beatd are stuffed using a combination of recycled polyester fibre and natural wool. They are weighted either with a small local beach stone or with recycled plastic pellets.
Soft Bears
Our softee bears are soft and squishy to hold. They are made using the same high quality mohair fabric as the more traditional jointed bears and are stuffed using natural wool fibres. However, softee bears have no loose parts rather having hand embroidered eyes and noses to add their character.
